Content before eye candy

Image by Getty Images via @daylifeWhen you are looking at your site make sure that you have complete content.  Too many clients worry more about what their website looks like than they do about making sure the content is complete.  Yes, it is important for your site to look good when someone comes to it but if your content is lame the will not come back.  After all most people that come to your site is for the information and not some much how it looks.
Next make sure that your content is current.  If your content is age dated make sure it is removed or up dated before the date expires.  Again, someone coming to your site for information and finds content out dated they will punch out and may not come back.  Again, if you have a date in your content make sure that date is in the future and not in the past.
SO, content first and make sure you content is not out dated.
